Stephen Cummins, CEO
Stephen is an expert and global speaker in SaaS, customer success, and employee success. With 16 years in SaaS, he’s been involved from the start in moving us from on-premise to cloud computing systems. Speaking 6 languages and having deep product knowledge, his earlier years with Salesforce were on planes, trains and onsite with customers – 70% remote working. Stephen was one of the 1st three CSMs in the world, a team formed in Salesforce Dublin. He has parachuted into more than 100 enterprise scale companies with a focus on streamlining work processes and helping clients make their employees and customers more successful.
Stephen has been working 100% remote as a CEO and founder for 6 years, project managing and consulting on business strategies, process optimisation and SaaS implementation for a number of world class companies. He’s recently spoken on SaaS, remote working and innovation and MC’d major stages at Lisbon’s Web Summit, Hong Kong’s RISE, Berlin’s Tech Open Air (TOA), New Orleans’ Collision (now Toronto) and Dublin’s MoneyConf.
He interviews some of the world’s most successful SaaS scale-up founders in the podcast 14 Minutes of SaaS – and is now recording new episodes to deconstruct the reasons why fully distributed SaaS companies are so successful. He was a scientist prior to switching to software and believes that sophistication in solution discovery is the most important element of any project.

“One of the most overlooked opportunities emerging from the evolution of hugely successful distributed companies is to transfer some of those efficiencies to co-located companies. Even if your company is not interested in having a significant percentage of remote employees, a huge amount can be learned from the various cultures and methodologies that have evolved in remote companies.” Stephen Cummins
“Too many people just assume that things are all right the way they are. Aren’t you guys convinced that the way you’re doing things is the right way? That’s no way to get anything done.” Taiichi Ohno
